Lihovar Gallery is a new space dedicated to photography, visual art, sound and immersive experiences. Created in collaboration with Czech Photo, it brings together photography, large-scale projections, spatial audio and contemporary digital technologies. The gallery’s programme presents exhibitions that combine powerful themes, compelling visual narratives and innovative forms of presentation. Through contemporary technology, photography expands beyond the frame, coming to life through movement and sound and offering visitors new ways to perceive and experience it.
Education is also an important part of Lihovar Gallery. The gallery offers programmes for schools, families and individual visitors, as well as a creative zone for children designed to encourage curiosity, creativity and playful exploration of photography, visual art and new technologies. Lihovar Gallery is not simply a place to look at photographs. It is a place to step into their stories. A space where we can experience the world around us, understand it more deeply and ask new questions about it.
