Dan Bárta & Illustratosphere will perform alongside Lash & Grey on January 13 and 14, 2027, at Lucerna Music Bar.

Due to their huge success, Dan Bárta & Illustratosphere’s special concerts, featuring a collaboration with the rising Slovak duo Lash & Grey, are returning to Lucerna Music Bar after a year! Dan Bárta, an eleven-time winner of the Anděl Award in the categories of Singer of the Year and Singer of the Quarter-Century, is marking the 25th anniversary of the release of his debut eponymous album Illustratosphere by specially expanding his standard band lineup for the Silver Wedding tour to include the duo Lash & Grey with singer Kristína Mihaľová. Dan Bárta rose to widespread fame in the 1990s with the band Alice and his performance in the musical Jesus Christ Superstar. He also became an integral part of the cult band J.A.R. His broad musical range has found expression in everything from the dance-oriented Sexy Dancers to popular film songs (including Snowboarders, Rafters, and Up and Down) to jazz associated with, for example, Robert Balzar’s trio. He left a significant mark on a number of other domestic music projects and also performed with giants of the global music scene (such as the phenomenal singer Bobby McFerrin or Sting’s longtime guitarist Dominic Miller). In 2000, Dan Bárta surprised fans with his own band, Illustratosphere, with whom he has released five studio albums and one live double album to date.

Lash & Grey have already performed on prestigious stages, including Carnegie Hall in New York, and at festivals in Mexico City, Guadalajara, and Paris; they have completed three concert tours in Italy and have also performed in Sweden, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, and on the French ARTE TV network. The duo has performed concerts in a total of 14 countries. In 2022, Kristína became the only European to make it into the TOP 5 singers from around the world in the prestigious Sarah Vaughan Jazz Vocal Competition in New Jersey. The duo has also won numerous awards, including the Anděl Award for Best Slovak Album for "Blossom Of Your World," the Slovak Radio_Head Award for Best Debut Album for "Sleepin’ With The Lights On," and for the 2021 Single of the Year, "After War." The American magazine Jazziz describes their music as an extraordinary experience.

Concertgoers can therefore look forward to a unique fusion of the absolute best of the Czech and Slovak scenes, featuring a cross-section of the finest works by Dan Bárta & Illustratosphere!
